The Idea
Provide a resource for parent's in searching for child care. Make easily accessible an online directory of child care centers and child care services. Provide a method for parent's to communicate with one another about different child care centers.

The Proposition
Design and develop an online directory of child care centers, and for other businesses, which have child-related services, such as gymnastic centers and music lessons.

Become solely responsible for the company's online presence, and work with their print designer to establish a brand identity for their company.

The Method
After one meeting, our team understood the client's vision. The design team put together a design, which the client approved immediately. We continued to work side by side with the client throughout the development process to achieve the look and feel that they desired.

Meanwhile our programming team began laying out the table design, back-end code and form interaction. Due to accurate data structure identification, and excellent initial communication at the onset, we immediately identified the data flow necessary to bring about the client's vision. We setup an admin section, for the client to manage all the child care centers, and related services. Through this tool, the client can add, and update information in the database directly. The admin tool was designed to be simple to use, as well as give the client direct control over all information on the site.

Through the creation of interfaces, the design team worked directly with the programming team, to come up with a design that followed the rest of the site, and the brand identity desired, but also come up with extremely functional solutions.

Custom useful tools were developed, and tailored to the client's specifications, such as content management system, for certain areas of the site, custom reporting, and account tracking.

By utilizing our extensive code-base, and award-winning design, we produced an aesthetically functional application, useful to parent's, and business owners.

At Present
Presently, there are over 1500 child care centers on the site, with new one's signing up daily. The forum is an active environment where parent's can connect and communicate, as desired.
